engine optimization
The engine is controlled by software in the ECU (Engine Control Unit). It contains information about fuel, ignition timing, pressure, turbo pressure and tolerances – as it was set up from the factory.
When we optimize the software, we work within the tolerances of the engine hardware, and we optimize up to +30 different parameters. If your car also has different driving modes, like Sport – Sport+ – Race – Comfort etc., we optimize the parameters for ALL driving modes.
You get a file that is uniquely fitted to you, your car and driving style. Instead of just manipulating with 2-5 sensor signals, we design and optimize our files specifically to your car model, local fuel quality, engine hardware weaknesses, limitations and so forth. It ensures that ALL parameters match each other, with engine life, economy, drivability, power and your excitement as the ultimate goal!

We guarantee that our file does the following:
- The car runs smoothly and delivers its torque over a wider RPM-register.
- Typically the fuel consumption is improved with up to 1 km/l during normal, comparable circumstances.
However, the general condition of the car, and your driving style means a lot when it comes to consumption – it can go both ways.
- We offer 12 months guarantee on the optimization, itself.
- We’re not responsible for wear and tear on any parts like the turbo, dirveline, fuelsystem etc.
- When the vehicle is with one of our Optitech dealers, the vehicle is insured.
- In the case of an error happening during the optimization itself, the car is insured by us.
- If the vehicles engine light or other engine errors are present, we kindly decline the assignment.
- Should that occur, we will only charge you a 1.000 DKK service fee.
- We’re not liable for any downtime, shutdown, car rental etc.
